DP

DP是一套為16至19歲年齡段學生設計、要求嚴格的大學預科課程。它是一套基礎面較寬的兩年制課程，旨在鼓勵學生成為知識淵博、努力探究並且富有同情心的人。

DP重視發展學生對多元文化的理解，鼓勵開放的情懷, 提倡在尊重的基礎上評估各方觀點。

DP的課程包括六個學術領域：兩門語言、社會科學、實驗科學、數學、以及藝術。在每一個學術領域中，學生都享有自主選擇的靈活性，他們可以選修自己特別感興趣並希望將來在大學裡繼續深造的學科。

The DP is a rigorous pre-university course of study designed for students in the 16 to 19 age range. It is a broad-based two-year course that aims to encourage students to be knowledgeable and inquiring, but also caring and compassionate. There is a strong emphasis on encouraging students to develop intercultural understanding, open-mindedness, and the attitudes necessary for them to respect and evaluate a range of points of view.

Students study: two modern languages; a humanities or social science subject; an experimental science; mathematics; one of the creative arts.

In each of the academic areas students have flexibility in making their choices, which means they can choose subjects that particularly interest them and that they may wish to study further at university.
