To enhance the “Home-School Collaboration” and to help the parents to be familiar with Kao Yip Middle School, the International Section has organized the Parents’ Day for the parents of K1, P1 and F1 students. The section launched different activities to strengthen the communication among the school, students and parents.

In the International Section JM1, starting with the introduction of the IB/MYP curriculum by Ms. Xu and Ms. Jackie and some group presentations by F1 students. Parents have gained more knowledge of the future development of the IB/MYP curriculum and become confident in the academic growth of their children.

In the International Section P1 and K1, teachers have explained their teaching plans and have demonstrated several student-centered classes to the attending parents. Parents have strengthened their understandings of the IB program by the student representatives’ sharing and parent-child interactive activities.

With the strong reassurance and positive feedback from the parents, we endeavor to ensure that our new K1, P1 and F1 students will make great achievements and enjoy their time in Kao Yip Middle School.

為加強學校與家長的溝通,幫助家長盡快熟悉學校,了解學校的教育理念、管理措施等，2018年10月27日上午，教業中學國際中心舉行了主題為“家長走進學校，了解IB國際課程”的新生家長接待會。在交流過程中，K1、P1和JM1的家長們進一步了解和體驗了IB國際課程；感受孩子在開學不到兩個月的時間里學習方式變化；加強了學校與家長之間的溝通與合作，留下了許多令人難忘的畫面。

各學段根據學生實際情況，分別舉行了內容豐富、形式多樣的家校交流活動。

國際中心JM1

見面會伊始，課程處許娃娃助理主任和課程統籌袁芳老師代表學校致歡迎辭，並從IB與MYP的辦學理念、課程大綱、教學目標、學生發展、評核標準等方面對國際班向家長進行了詳細的介紹，讓家長了解國際班的現況和發展前景，令其對孩子的未來充滿信心。隨後，由班代表介紹各位科任老師，其後各位初一學生以分組形式匯報和分享學期初的上課點滴。最後特別透過Kahoot遊戲，讓家長體驗如何使用電子設備輔助課堂教學，提升學校成效，并加深對IB課程的理解。

國際中心P1

P1各位全科老師對國際課程探究單元的教學計劃進行了細緻的說明，英文老師也對課程的實施進行了詳細的介紹。并由學生代表分享了上小學以來的感受和收穫，從孩子們可愛的笑臉裏和稚嫩的語句中，大家都感受到了「進步和愉悅」；而當家長代表分享孩子們的進步變化時，從他們安慰的笑容裏和篤定的眼神中，則感受到了「肯定和感謝」。最後，老師們精心設計了親子探究互動環節——餐墊任務，通過遊戲的方式讓學生、家長共同參與-關於PYP 十大培養目標的「主題探究活動」。讓家長對於國際課程有了深一步的了解。
K1各班均安排英語老師以不同形式開展英語親子教學展示課，包括閱讀、美勞、遊戲課。各課堂充分體現活動教學形式，給予幼兒利用英語展示自我，家長更能參與其中，感受課堂。隨後各班班主任向家長介紹幼兒進入幼稚園以來的學習、生活情況，家長透過活動相片的展示及講解，更能了解幼兒在幼稚園的生活及課堂流程，充分掌握幼兒的學習情況。活動上各班亦安排了家長代表分享，家長均表示幼兒由剛接觸校園以至現在，進步很多，透過老師及學校的悉心照料及教導，表示幼兒之主動性、學習能力均有顯著的提升，家長們給予學校工作高度的肯定。

我們相信，在學校和家長的共同努力下，教業中學國際中心老師們將會讓教之樂融入孩子們的生活學習中，讓他們感受到業之樂，幸福健康、快樂成長！
